CARDBOARD VAMPYRES: Californian Tour Announced

CARDBOARD VAMPYRES, the new "covers" band featuring former ALICE IN CHAINS guitarist Jerry Cantrell, ex-THE CULT guitarist Billy Duffy and former MÖTLEY CRÜE frontman John Corabi, have lined up a short Californian tour in November. Confirmed dates are as follows:

Nov. 14 - Solana Beach, CA @ Belly Up Tavern
Nov. 15 - Los Angeles, CA @ The Key Club
Nov. 16 - Santa Ana, CA @ The Galaxy Theatre
Nov. 17 - Malibu, CA @ Malibu Inn
Nov. 18 - Modesto, CA @ Fat Cat
Nov. 19 - San Francisco, CA @ Slim's

In other news, Cantrell will be performing with CAMP FREDDY at the the third annual Vanity Fair In Concert taking place in New York and Los Angeles at the end of this month. The dates are as follows:

Oct. 21 – New York, NY @ Irving Plaza
Oct. 23 – Los Angeles, CA @ The Wiltern LG

CARDBOARD VAMPYRES play songs from both ALICE IN CHAINS and THE CULT, as well as covers of tunes by artists like BLACK SABBATH, LED ZEPPELIN, METALLICA, and others. As of yet, there are no plans for the group to write or record any original material. Cantrell is currently writing his third solo album.
